Riley Adlington grew up in Newcastle and served in the Royal Australian Navy before going full time into the trade. Adlington Plumbing has run since 2020.
The Navy part matters more than it sounds. Turn up on time, prepare before you start, check your work, leave the site better than you found it. Those are not marketing lines, they are just how the jobs run.
Today the work sits at the harder end of the trade. Water infiltration nobody else could locate, sewer and stormwater lines at the end of their life, relining, and drainage on sites that have never drained properly. All of it rewards taking the time to diagnose it.

The ones we get asked most
Yes. NSW plumbing licence 384065C, with full public liability cover. We issue a Certificate of Compliance on every job that requires one, and we are happy to send the paperwork through before we start.
Quotes are free. Attending, investigating and carrying out the work is charged. For a small plumbing job it is $220 including GST, which covers the callout and the first hour on site. From there we assess what is involved and, where it makes sense, give you a price to complete the job before going any further. Where specialist equipment is needed the rate for that equipment applies instead, so drain jetting is $330 including GST for the first hour rather than a jetting charge with a callout fee added on top.
Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and the Central Coast, plus the surrounding Hunter suburbs. If you are outside that and stuck, call anyway and we will tell you honestly whether we are the right people.
Yes. Light commercial, strata and real estate maintenance, plus scheduled backflow testing which we arrange and manage for you. We can invoice through your agency or building manager.
