Hot water, sorted the same day.
A dead hot water system is not something you can put off for a week. We carry the common units and can usually have you back on hot water the same day.

Choosing a system
The cheapest unit is rarely the cheapest decision
An electric storage tank is the lowest number on the quote and usually the highest on your power bill over ten years. A heat pump is the reverse. Which is right depends on your household, not on what is in stock.
We ask how many people are in the house, when you all shower, whether you have solar, and whether gas is already connected. Then you get a straight comparison rather than a push toward one brand.
If your existing unit has years left in it we will say so and repair it. Replacing something serviceable is not a service.
Systems
Hot water work we do
Gas storage and continuous
Instantaneous units for space saving, storage where the flow demand is high. Installed and certified.
Electric storage
Element and thermostat replacement, tempering valves, and full swap-outs where the tank has gone.
Heat pump systems
Big running cost savings, and often rebate eligible. We will tell you honestly if your spot suits one.
Solar hot water
Installation, boosters, and repairs to existing systems that are not performing like they used to.
Repairs and servicing
Pilot lights, thermostats, elements, valves and leaking relief lines. Often a cheap fix on a good unit.
Tempering valves
Required by law on new installs. They stop scalding at the tap and they do wear out.
Questions
The ones we get asked most
Electric and gas storage tanks typically run ten to fifteen years. Continuous gas units often go longer. Once a tank starts leaking from the body it is finished, and that is a replacement rather than a repair.
Usually yes for common sizes and types. Call in the morning and we will tell you honestly whether we can do it that day.
For most households with a decent electricity tariff, yes, and rebates often apply. It suits some sites better than others, so we will look at where the unit would go before recommending one.
Usually a failed lower element on an electric tank, a thermostat drifting, or sediment build-up eating into the tank volume. All three are diagnosable in one visit.
